I am a Junior Computer Science and Japanese student. I like the puzzle that comes from understanding a different way of thinking, and both fields give me that at the highest level
On the coding side, I am comfortable with Python, Java, SQL, and C#. Right now, I am really interested in game development. Working with a trusted friend of mine, we have started working on a horror game based off my friends experience working in a warehouse. I am taking the programming side of things mostly, but I have helped a good bit on the art side as well. Our goal is not to make something that will make us money, but just to make something. Even if only one person plays it, that is one person we entertained for a bit.
On the otehr hand, my Japanese skills are... compliacted. I am definitely around the N4 level, but I still slip up on the language a lot. I started learning the language as a backup plan for jobs, but the language is so entertaining to use that I care more about being able to meaningfully use it. I mostly read slice of life manga, but I do like trying to replay Pokemon games in Japanese. I hope to be able to use my Japanese for translation one day, showing myself that I really do know the language.
I create what I want. I don't care for what other people think about my work. As long as I enjoy the result, I find it a job well done
Interested in my art?I don't expect anyone to ever go to this link, but on the off chance you are hiring, please contact me
